It centers on during the end of the Roman Republic in the single-player campaign and lets the player assume the role of the leader. In the beginning, the player needs to select a character, give it a name and customize it to get into the world. It is the sequel to Imperium Romanum released in 2008. The game supports both Single and Multiplayer modes and takes place in the historical settings. Grand Ages: Rome combines the elements of Real-time Strategy and City-building developed by Haemimont Games and published by Kalypso Media.
